The antimicrobial properties of Copper was well understood by our ancestors so to drink water contained in Copper Vessels was believed to be good for our health and well being.

Wearing Copper Jewelry close to the skin is well known to relieve Arthritic symptoms in some cases and also  help with better circulation.


                                                                              

     COPPER: The beautiful patina of Copper surpasses that of any other metal in my opinion. Copper Jewelry makes a wonderful fashion statement.

   Copper will change color and develop a patina in due course of time but this is easy to clean and the jewelry can be stored in a Zip lock plastic bag when not in use.  This prevents the oxidization process  and keeps the Copper Jewelry in its original condition for a longer period of time.

  Jewelry from Bijouterie Sudha will be given a light coating of RENAISSANCE WAX (used in the British Museums) if the customer requests this.

COPPER CUFF AND LAYERED, RIVETED EARRINGS.

Hand-made Copper Cuff and Earrings - multiple layers of Brass and Copper are riveted to make this unique Jewelry. All of the Jewelry from BIJOUTERIE SUDHA are created one at a time by myself with utmost care to quality and detail.
All of the Copper products are 99% pure Copper and are purchased from the USA. All of the products are Nickel and lead Free and purchased from either Canada or imported from the USA. The final products are made here in Montreal.

The Copper cuff is first cut from Copper sheets and then worked on after being annealed - every cuff will have its own unique stamping and shape. I never really know how the end product is going to look. Some are stamped with design stamps and some are textured. I specially love to make the cuffs using the Fold Forming Technique.

The cuffs can be made to your measurements and also the width can be adjusted. Your choice of names could be engraved on these too.
